Buti Watches
The Buti watches were first conceptualized in 2001 and shown for the first time in 2002, in the year 2004, the Buti watches debuted in the US. The most popular Buti style is the black gold pieces. The Black brand is created from yellow, white, and rose gold that is put through a vacuum ionic treatment to create a black gold appearance. There are numerous limited edition Buti watches, including the Black brand itself. Another limited edition Buti watch is one which includes diamonds sold both to men and women. Buti invaded the US market with six limited edition watch lines: Shark, Yanick, Giotto, Michelangelo, Galileo, and Lulu. The Buti collection contains unifying features: each men’s model features a large 42mm case, the Buti logo at 12, large crown, dark, or “marbled” dial, luminescent hands, a rounded case design and all are water resistant up to 200 meters. Recently, the brand launched a new line, the Fausto line which has a tonneau-shaped case, which gives the piece a more slender appearance. Instead of diamonds, the hours are marked with ornamental Arabic numerals. Buti watches reflect the amalgamation of Swiss mechanics and Italian fashion and design.
